- Possibly overbooked code share flights. A terrorist faced with a code share flight will not get the chance to even get on the plane, preventing a possible act of terror.
- The barrier of "Thou-Shalt-Not-Pass-Until-Noon". It is common knowledge that terrorists, like vampires, ghosts, and werewolves, are strictly nighttime creatures. They disappear by morning, and are certainly not going to be around at noon.
- Repeated application of the Take-Off-Your-Shoes and XRay-The-Carry-On methods. Maybe the tenth check will find something the first nine have missed.
- Poisoned airplane food. A terrorist that throws up is not going to look good as a kamikadze.
One last note. As I passed the cockpit of the 747 I flew across the Atlantic in, I smelled a strong odor of garlic. Presumably to ward off terrorists.
